(The reference to Jonah in the Disney classic Pinocchio with Geppetto living in there for like a month greatly exaggerates the size of even the largest whales while taking immense liberties with their anatomy)

Yeah, in my experience most of them are still hung up on “It wasn’t a WHALE it was a BIG FISH” and I had to remind them that that’s even worse, because, y’know, mammals at least have some air in there, but they weren’t really big on science
