It's a pretty big flex to make one of the biggest spoilers in your whole show also be an absolute banger/earworm of a song that you know everyone will be making memes of almost instantly

Gloating about it is an excellent observation. It really works to define her character before revealing anything specific.

In fairness, nerds have been posting that particular spoiler since before the show was even out. At this point I'm treating Wandavision like Game of Thrones in terms of "here's what non-book readers don't know yet" spoilers.

It's especially genius because it meant there was still a big surprise for people who saw the twist coming. Did I expect X to secretly be Y? Yes. Did I expect them to be responsible for Z? Pretty much. Did I expect them to announce it in song? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

It's like how the idea of X coming back was an obvious angle for them to take but not that he'd come back as Y

Though I have to say I got a triple-whammy - I assumed this was where the plot was going, but then got spoiled before I could see it, and was merely unhappy I wouldn't get the same effect of HOW they revealed it. But then the HOW was much much greater than expected. So much.
