I've seen people go back and forth on whether the Jack Pack and Sarina's story are an incisive exploration of neurodivergence in an ableist society or are themselves dangerously ableist Especially when Jack loses his shit and becomes violent/murderous

I saw a really good fic one time that was an attempt to redo "Chrysalis" from the Jack Pack's perspective to counteract the ableism of the way the story was initially told, although it was sadly unfinished
