Interesting. I had been noting the skip from the 1970s to the 2000s but if it's partially grounded in the 1980s then...I don't know what any of this means.

The previous episode had been '80s, Family Ties/Growing Pains/Full House This one I guess is '90s in the sense of being an "average" of an '80s show and a '00s show Part of the issue is the well-known thing about how in the '90s "young adult" shows totally displaced family ones
