A cat or other predator killed one of my mourning dove friends. Its bloody remains are exploded across my fire escape. The one bright spot of quarantine was getting to see these beautiful birds every day, and now they'll never come back.

They eat a nice big breakfast of kibble or canned tuna every morning and they go out all hale and hearty to bag a dove and then just wastefully leave it there because they've had their entertainment Like a fuzzy little Eric Trump
