The only housewife chores that impact him in any way would be dusting and vacuuming the common areas etc And even then Wanda generates most of the dust (95% of which indoors is shed human skin cells) If Vision lived by himself he'd be just fine without her, practically speaking

Seems like the problem is she can’t convince Vision more than anything else, she doesn’t seem to care about continuity or errors.
-
Worth talking about how the sitcom setting "moving forward in time", in-universe, means "becoming more like the real world", i.e. the fantasy breaking down and becoming less removed from reality every day

In the future, it's going to get rather ugly, when people try to snap her out of it. Or, explain to her that she can't just undo the past events. Good ole "House of M"...

Jumping forward to the next decade to distract Vision clearly won't work for much longer, considering the speed at which she's been burning through those decades so far. And I don't think a future setting would serve her purposes.

Because she needs a setting that is just familiar enough to be comforting and removed from reality enough to not trigger actual memories of the past. I think that's why she chooses sitcoms, although they might not reflect her personal utopia.
