See I can't related to Wandavision's depiction of grief bc it absolutely reminds me of the kind of people who absolutely move in and take over an art form, like indie video games, to "deal with their issues," and don't believe anyone else copes differently

It's a great depiction of those people, in that their "safe spaces" are actually horrifying and filled with death that they sanitize and erase, but I can't see Wanda as anything but a villain, not really more sympathetic on anything but scale than Thanos

If anything, a lot of people pre-emptively got mad about this, because it's the same basic message as Pleasantville and The Truman Show, both of which were straight up attacks on the whole "comfort character" thing
