I saw someone comment that Wanda started out as this radicalized Eastern European teenager who despised American capitalism so it's a contradiction that she seems obsessed with US TV And I'm like You haven't met many people fitting that description have youhttps://twitter.com/jeannette_ng/status/1358066774609178624 …

It's because she refuse to accept that he's dead within the canon of the show. In episode 5, she sorta was....trying to get to that point. In fact, I think we were watching a Very Special Episode about Death. And then...her subconscious rebelled and rewrote reality.

Where the story was going: Wanda: You see, Billy and Tommy, sometimes animals...and people...that we care for...are gone. Like my brother. He died before you were two were born. And...we just have to remember them- *subconcious*: Nope! Imma finding another Pietro!

It’s still would’ve worked so much better if they kept the twins’ Roma and Jewish origin. Not Roma, not Jewish, boring. As much as I love the show and as much as I’ve come to really love MCU Wanda, there could’ve been so much more. I mean obviously Wanda is an expy Bosnian.

"A good, strong, all-American name" She rejects "Billy" (which that surely also applies to) because Vision taints it with foreignness slightly by mentioning William Shakespeare
