Anyone remember like 20 years ago there was a whole meme going around titled "Yes, you are" Trying to destigmatize the word "feminist" and insist to the imaginary reader that "Yes, you are a feminist" It was very annoying, in my opinion

Like, I believed then and I believe now that it's incorrect Most people who say they are not feminists are correct that they are not feminists

When they say they believe that women should have equal rights and be treated as people "but I'm not a feminist", they are telling the truth What they mean by "have equal rights" and "be treated as people" is just weaker than what you mean (generally it means almost nothing)
