I know a lot of people are on this bandwagon saying it was an excruciating wait to get through three sitcom episodes of WandaVision to get to the "real story" and I would like to just say that they are wrong I would watch a whole season of the imaginary sitcom

Look I just strongly believe there's something inherently funny about a fully grown man talking about "Me and the boys" and it's even funnier if the "Me and the boys went bowling and got a little carried away" story is coming from a mystical android supersoldier

(It is of course also a general cultural critique here, that in an idealized 50s/60s household a housewife's work is 24/7 but the instant the menfolk go off the clock from their day jobs it's time to goof off like a kid let out of school)

Well, it's deconstructive, the joke partly is that Vision being in this situation makes no sense at all and the sitcom reality creates an absurd contrivance to force it to happen
