one time I asked my middle school principal to expel me, and for some reason I thought he just would, like he was always itching to do that and would have taken any excuse

He just patiently told me I didn't want to be expelled, because it wouldn't allow me to go to another normal school like I wanted; it would force me to have to enroll in a place that was even more awful than where I currently was

Homeschool would have been awesome but I was being raised by a single mom so instead I would have gone to this Special Ed school that was like a halfway house for juvie

I just wanted to go to another school in the same district, the one I was zoned for anyway but wasn't being allowed to transfer to because it didn't have an analogue to the BD classroom I was ghettoized in that was literally making me want to die

They'll do that for you sometimes but it's much harder if you've been expelled for disciplinary reasons

No one wants to pick up the other school's problem students Your best bet in a situation like that is to get removed for your own protection from bullying

I think your best bet is to bribe someone

Well, I tried to go live with my dad and his parents just to get away from it, which should say a lot about how badly I wanted out of there
