Yeah - and admittedly, there are kind of twin movements in a lot of fascist organizing. They set themselves up as a majority, speaking for the masses/normies. But they also do a lot of stunts premised on defiance of community norms.

Which is a paradox of sorts, but generally resolves with fascists breaking taboos as a celebration of their own strength, and as a message that they will do what needs to be done to save 'the nation' or whatever. It is *not* an endorsement of pluralism or anything like it.
