So a thing that is genuinely bugging me about Hades is the decision to refer to Hades as hell in places.

And like general expressions like "Go to hell" or "I'll see you in hell" or "I'm in hell right now" don't necessarily imply Christian theology even if to our ear they do. Like, going to hell is dying, and dying is a bad thing in pretty much every culture

But maybe that's just my bias I grew up with old school translations of stuff - including of Chinese religion/mythology - that was very free with using translation terms that today would be called misleadingly Christian-centric

I'm gonna be honest, the fact that my original gripe with the subtext 'I'm annoyed that Christianity language continues to happen even in things that are about something else ostensibly" has spawned multiple subthreads justifying it via Christianity existing.
