Except United doesn't have to let people on their planes. Marriott doesn't have to let them stay at their hotels. And Visa (which doesn't even issue you your credit card, but whatever) doesn't have to do business with you. Almost like they don't even understand the free market.

The publishing company is the customer in this situation. Hawley is demanding that they have to buy his book. This isn't like a bakery refusing to sell a wedding cake to a gay couple. It's like the homophobic bakery getting mad that the gay couple refuses to buy a cake from them.
