Not surprised or even saddened given what she did, but 45% of Republicans approve of the storming. Millions of people. Entire communities with families and dependents who may not even agree. If we give up on rehabilitation, what do we do with these people?

I'mdisabled and would be tossed out of the gene pool if these people had their way. I feel relief knowing there's fewer of them. It's personally easy to believe the instinct that the answer is to physically remove them. Rationally, I don't think the atrocities are worth it.

Atrocities against them, or atrocities directed at the vulnerable once the social order completely collapses. It's not the answer.

I'll tell you one thing we don't have: Guns. Most independent gun owners lean right. Cops lean right. Soldiers lean right. To begin a shooting war would be suicidal. But a war of words is one we are well-positioned to win. IF we make our words effective at persuading people.
