Twitter's ability to accomplish good in the world is pretty much exclusively limited to things within the direct reach of twitter. Negative social consequences for bad behavior- yes, holding actual criminal conduct accountable- no.

It's worth a shot. I mean, we are going to scream into the void so it might as well try and scream something important.

I mean, "Don't be a shitty parent, here's an example" is pretty important and actually directly actionable by a decent number of people who will see it?

Yes. More people would know about it, at the very least. I do think it's important for people know what's happening in the country and why. If people don't know, it's almost certain nothing will ever change bc no one will try.
-
And if it didn't matter at all, why in the world would anyone bother with bots or fake accounts?

Most of us here on Twitter are deeply invested in the fantasy that it changes something. It's like a ouija board, but instead of a mysterious spirit appearing we get an imperfect man closing his twitter account.

(I may not fully understand what a ouija board is. I'm probably Ouija Board Guy now.)
