It's seriously the most "adult" movie Pixar has ever made A lesser movie would've spelled out the lesson of that sequence in words right then and there, but even though they call back to it later they don't ever need to tell us what this scene "means"

It's... really similar to the ending of The Good Place, which also worked very hard to pull off the tightrope walk of delivering this message gracefully without falling off into corniness
