Certainly makes more sense than Israel, a land infamously difficult to farm for most of its history, being a place of abundance and plenty somehow. (The land used for farming now was part of Philistine or Phoenician lands for most of the Kingdom of Israel's history)

I recall reading somewhere that the "honey" so referred to isn't the bee-made stuff, but rather the molasses-like syrup made from dates. Which would mean that the bible is referring to that date shake I had in Palm Springs which was, to be fair, quite excellent.pic.twitter.com/lF7pyppJoE
