I haven’t studied historical trans misogyny, I am not a trans woman. I studied women’s studies and I am a woman. Very different. I have no fight with trans people digging up their history, but why do we hear about it constantly when we are trying to advocate for women and girls?

The *asymmetry* with which transphobes generally view trans people is instructive here, whether or not the transphobe in question identifies as a conservative Christian or radical feminist Pity and condescending concern for trans men, revulsion and contempt for trans women

Because, well, they think men are superior to women A trans man is like a peasant trying to dress up as a noble to steal a seat at the feast, a trans woman is like a noble slumming it as a peasant as some kind of sick game
