It was literally so disconnected from what the show became that watching it felt like watching a parody. It didn’t make sense. Tone wise, plot wise, none of it made sense. It was bizarre. Like there’s a lot to say about spn but that finale did not fit what it had become at ALL.

Apparently the finale was meant to take place a full five years after the previous episode (where they defeat and dethrone God and everything), according to Jared Padalecki ...It might've been better if they'd actually said that in the episode
