I mean, if I were asked to give advice to someone these days, I just wouldn't I don't know that there is any good advice, except obvious stuff like not eating Tide Pods and not dating Trump supporters

The key words here are "basic needs" - having those met is the prerogative for having any choice in life. There are very few young people that actually have choice. Most of them are burdened with medical bills, low wages and debt.

Yeah, I feel like the conclusion here is that there isn't one formula for finding happiness because everybody's idea of happiness is fundamentally different, and that we need to make sure everybody's basic needs are met so they can figure out for themselves how to be happy
