Yeah, that's likely accurate. I think a lot of the other ones are things that happened in the semi-recent past of the OP, where there's still an axe to grind, and where the OP is writing it from the perspective of the person who was an asshole to them.

But the genre requires the audience ot at least INTERACT with it as though it's true. Which means that a part of it is that you get to ask follow up questions, and theroetically, more things will happen.

One of the things I consider the most obvious "tell" of a fake story is when the OP lacks a major detail that the author then drops in the followup comments Like you don't even find out the worst thing the boyfriend did until someone grills him about it

It's not the lack of details that get filled in later that's the issue, it's initially leaving out a detail that seems, to a third party, to be so important it changes the whole point of the story
