So let's talk about WHY these suck in commercial erotic hypnosis. And why they're not actually bad per se.https://twitter.com/Amethyst_Hypno/status/1341031433205403654 …

EROTIC HYPNOSIS is a niche fetish, what that means is that it's a VERY popular fetish, in a VERY small group of devotees.

I do most of my Dominatrix work in this niche. We tend to charge more because it's more labor intensive. We spend A LOT of time creatively coming up with various scenarios, inductions, etc. Each file produced? When done well...is VERY labor intensive. That's why they're $$$

Outsiders just see 'oh they charge a lot' So they google a staircase induction. (This is all based on what I have heard from MANY MANY MANY clients over the course of a decade doing this professionally full time as my only source of income btw :P)

And then they read, poorly, something like: Okay so like, you're going down the stairs, okay? Like okay now ten times deeper, now ten times deeper, going down, and you're under. Buy me a playstation!

So the 'staircase induction' became sort of a joke, used by unprofessional sex workers pushing in on a niche they just saw as a cash cow. Not unlike 'FIN DOMME'....which is also a HIGHLY specialized niche fetish area that's labor intensive as fuck and hard to do well.

Which is also why I rarely use them with clients, AND have not used them in ANY commercial releases, despite it being not a terrible induction. Where it IS a terrible induction is that some people have deep seated fears of walking down a staircase believe it or not.

And that subconscious anxiety can prevent someone from going under easily. You have to plan for that, and subvert it. Which you can't do if you're 'performing' hypnosis from a script. No shame, no slander...but that is what it is.

I always liked the physical metaphor of water filling up a tub better than going down an elevator
