Hi Arthur! Fellow Swattie here & marine biologist! Hate to “well actually” but octopuses communicate using posture & skin color/texture. Their intelligence is def diff from ours (could even speculate abt relevance of short lifespans?) but I wouldn’t say they’re totally solitary
