So maaaaybe via Jedi training they're able to bypass the language issues (which would ALSO explain why Yoda can't speak properly) of childhood, and that would ALSO be how they could be a teacher at 100, even if still physically a child. But...idk.

If we presume that ALL Yodas (let's just call them Yodas since we do not know the name of this species) are able to use the Force naturally, per above, then it would ALSO make sense that Baby Yodas use this to communicate basic communication w/ their parents.

They would not NEED language until later. Which again, explains Yoda's deficiencies in language, even presuming he learned it as a 2nd language, fucker has had EIGHT HUNDRED YEARS to improve. ;)

And now this is MY presumption I always presumed Yodas were a swamp species, and used the Force to avoid predators, protect themselves, and to hunt/build. There's no dark/light with it with them because it's just like being able to see, or hear. And actual Yoda (and Yaddle)

were Yodas super duper strong in the Force and somehow managed to leave their planet (it's implied their species is not a spacefaring species) and find ...Jedis? Yeah best not to think too hard on it. Or maybe they called a Jedi to them and then that Jedi knew not to tell. IDK

Or perhaps Yoda retroactively removed the information after he became a Master and on the Council because his people again could've been exploited for their natural Force powers. Also there was implication as I recall that Yodas were a very simple people.

AND there wasn't a huge population of them, again not the dominant species of their planet though it's implied they've evolved beyond being prey much the same way humans did. Like tigers still eat us from time to time, but not as often. But villages, not big cities.

MOAR GOOD DISCUSSION https://twitter.com/arthur_affect/status/1340435224539275265 … Also a link there which is pretty decent on all we 'officially' know about Yodas. Looks like much of what I work on (in head canon) is ASSUMPTIVE rather than anything official. So maybe we'll learn more about Yodas soon. :D

Something I’m wondering about is this: Grogu is 50 years old at the start of the show. Anakin Skywalker would’ve also been 50 at the same time if he were still alive. In a world were coincidence is rare, that seems fairly significant, somehow, though to what end I don’t know.

Yeah a lot of fans have speculated the Child is the result of Darth Plagueis' experiments with creating life that (ambiguously) caused Anakin's virgin birth They even say that on the show, when the Mandalorian first speculates the Child is some kind of artificial construct
