But being a Jedi wasn't about being a warrior, because the word WARRIOR is used IN ADDITION to Jedi in the original movies. If Jedi = warrior, there'd be no reason to add that. In the ORIGINAL movies we weren't supposed to look at Yoda and go 'holy shit what a badass fighter'

And we know from Ashoka that Grogu has been studying with Jedi Masters at the Temple for decades. Decades. Even though he cannot talk, and his body is too little to use a lot of Force powers without draining the little guy into a nap... He's able to Force choke. Divert flame.

He's able to pick up Stormtroopers and mash them together like they're toys. Which, is a lot for a TODDLER. But while he's also *clearly* a baby who has problems comprehending some things.

We also see Ashoka is instantly able to EASILY communicate with him, not with language, but...via the Force. Enough that she knows what he's been through, what happened and even his name. When Din tries to tell him how to fix the ship, Grogu can't follow it.

So maaaaybe via Jedi training they're able to bypass the language issues (which would ALSO explain why Yoda can't speak properly) of childhood, and that would ALSO be how they could be a teacher at 100, even if still physically a child. But...idk.

If we presume that ALL Yodas (let's just call them Yodas since we do not know the name of this species) are able to use the Force naturally, per above, then it would ALSO make sense that Baby Yodas use this to communicate basic communication w/ their parents.

They would not NEED language until later. Which again, explains Yoda's deficiencies in language, even presuming he learned it as a 2nd language, fucker has had EIGHT HUNDRED YEARS to improve. ;)

And now this is MY presumption I always presumed Yodas were a swamp species, and used the Force to avoid predators, protect themselves, and to hunt/build. There's no dark/light with it with them because it's just like being able to see, or hear. And actual Yoda (and Yaddle)

There's no real reason to assume that Yoda is from Dagobah or a Dagobah-like planet just because he went there to hide
