The thing where she had to play multiple personalities in Season 1 is this thing where a casting director apparently thought she was a virtuoso acting chameleon and she... wasn't Bluntly, she's not *that* hot either

They had other hotter better actresses on the show that they kept just introducing just to kill off, and it seems like statistically most of them *had* to be less racist than she was

I hate to be a nerd but it was so fucking galling how little sense DL's death made and it makes so much more sense to have it confirmed it was just racism His *whole thing* is that he can phase through solid matter

They even *said on the show* that you can't kill him in a fight as long as he sees your blow coming, he'll instinctively turn insubstantial just before you hit him, he only got arrested and went to prison because he didn't want to reveal his powers

To make a repeated plot point of him getting shot just makes him look extremely careless, for someone in his profession At least have him get shot by a sniper from a rooftop or something

God I'm so mad about this stupid show I thought I'd stopped caring about Their son, Micah, ends up constantly talking about his dead mom this, his dead mom that, having drama over his dead mom because her identical clone shows up as his "aunt" to take him in

His equally dead dad -- who died *first* -- is just forgotten, they barely ever mention him again Christ that's infuriating The way they just said that if Ali and Leonard didn't get along, Leonard had to get the axe, because he *only exists* to be the dad in their family

To just have them split up but have his story continue was impossible, too many plot threads dangling Ha ha wow fuck them Tim Kring is so bad at writing TV shows

I would never have remembered the character if not for this, but I’m sure Larter’s issues played a role in that. You’re right that she’s no great shakes. Would it have been his “big break”? I have no idea what anyone on that show is doing besides Quinto and Grunberg.

I see Oka and Ventimiglia are on long-running, popular network shows I would never watch. Panetierre did that too. Perhaps he could have had that.

It's always an uphill battle in Hollywood, especially for PoC, but this really obviously didn't help
