this is literally the problem. parents don't even face minimal moral disapprobation for most abuses. people think the very idea of parents having power over children is funny, much as John Adams found it funny when his wife suggested men had power over women.https://twitter.com/nberlat/status/1338634504697749504 …

That’s true, though I liked being on Parler for the vitriol, but it just seemed cruel to stay on it

That ain't it chief, most of us normies don't ever experience affirmation, at least not with any regularity. I think it's more about experiencing the comfort of that echo chamber :)

is this twitt sarcasm? becouse i want to point out that an echo chamber IS AN EXPERIENCE OF CONSTANT AFFIRMATION... but i dont want to "explain the joke to the comedian" :P

Also. i see a lot of people that can have a lot of tweets about this subject, without adressing (or pretending not to know) that "parenthood" is not the only way a society can raice children. Thats the "problen" we have know, we let ALL the power to the dudes that fucked.

Yeah! People avoiding that (willfully or otherwise idk?) is a big part of why this mess is still going, I think. :/

As an aside from this argument: That's one reason being on twitter, but it's not the only one. There are opportunities to educate, for fun, to get inside industry gossip, gauge how one community or many view an issue, all types of things really.
