Man the way they keep talking about how attempts at good magic always get twisted to evil makes you wonder if it works in reverse, maybe good things will happen if you intentionally wish for bad things

Does it work retroactively? I just wished your middle school teacher would never read you horrifying parables and that you wouldn’t hold onto it for 20 years to use it as a Twitter example to defend someone who thinks parents are inherently oppressive to their kids. Did it work?

The teacher isn't really an example of parents oppressing kids, it's an example of people being too stupid to distinguish fiction and reality
