I was just raging about this to myself after watching that video yesterday. They had us do the fucking napkin blotting during the nutrition module in school, to show how much fat was in the foods. And presented that as we should avoid the foods that soak the napkin.

Giving us that awful food pyramid-based guide on how to determine what's healthy by avoiding fats and sugars and getting plenty of grains. Teaching a bunch of tweens to avoid any and all fats right at the age where our brains are going through significant changes.

I mean, I have one some occasions patted grease off a pepperoni pizza when there's been, like, a puddle in a pepperoni cup. But the sugar industry managing to convince this country that fat makes people fat and sugar is a great replacement has been a massive killer.
