Polio had a "low mortality rate" too I wonder if the last remaining survivor of it left their iron lung to a museum when they passed away, or if a private collector purchased it

“On September 5, I was diagnosed with Guillain Barré Syndrome by two different specialists,” she said. Guillain Barre Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that medical experts have linked to COVID-19 infections. Seriously dude, did you even read your own BS article?

Yes She didn't have it before, she has it after surviving a COVID-19 infection -- it's a chronic autoimmune disorder and COVID-19 causes the immune system to attack itself (a cytokine storm)

No where in that article does it state that COVID caused her GBS. This is so stupid. Just like someone with cancer gets COVID and dies and we act like it’s the same thing as a healthy person getting COVID. How many more people are in wheel chairs/iron lungs because of Covid

Let's say it turns out your best friend has lung cancer. Sucks, but they've got somewhere between 1-5 years to live I come along and I shoot your friend. It's a chest wound. Your friend dies painfully, gasping for air At the trial, I argue I didn't kill them - the cancer did /1

I say that sure, I shot them, but they'd have recovered if they weren't sick. It wasn't my fault - it was the cancer. They didn't die of a gunshot, they died with a gunshot And anyway, they'd have died anyway. Would you vote to convict? /end

And you're fine with raising the general infection level until "at risk" people inevitably catch it and die Because you're a piece of shit

Guess what, if "self-isolation" worked, the virus wouldn't exist at all If it were that easy then we'd all have flawlessly quarantined the first few weeks and there were only a few thousand cases and it would have died out

I cant remember which comedian had the joke: If diseases where only infectious with symptoms, the neanderthals at some point would have figured out to throw the guy with the runny nose out of the cave.
