As someone who grew up in a house having to harshly censor any use of swear words or media containing swear words, and as someone who then dropped "fuck" and "shit" and "asswipe" very freely as an adult, I'm of an age where I've come to appreciate minced oaths for their own sake

If something is "crap" it's not even bad in an interesting enough way for it to be worth getting an R rating talking about it
