I mean look calling someone an A-hole is inherently funny "A-hole" is such a great word It's so much funnier than actually calling someone an "asshole"

Just like "freaking" is actually a better way to express excitement or frustration than "fucking" in many situations And calling something "crap" as an insult is actually more devastating than calling it "shit"

If something is "crap" it's not even bad in an interesting enough way for it to be worth getting an R rating talking about it

I mean I'm preaching to the choir, the Gen Z kids younger than me are the ones who started saying "heckin'" all the time

I really hate the mincing of oaths when it's done to say something without being on the hook for having said it but I love it when it's because the particular word is cute or appropriate
-
Like if you're saying "what the heck" because you think it's wrong to say hell, ugh we all know what you meant, you still expressed the idea, no points. But saying it because it's funny or cute is very fun.
