It’s far beyond the tool of green screen. It’s a box that can replicate anything and because of green screens limitations, though the same principal, it’s hardly suggested to only use green screen because it’s expensive to do it right and the lighting can be tricky to match.

All due respect Clint Eastwood got his squint from being in the desert under hot lights. So many of people’s favorite things about a movie or a performance come from the tactile interaction with an environment. And rear projection and matte paintings are more of an art form
