eh, i don't think i'd go that far! humanity can be a useful steward of a thriving ecosystem; like we can look to indian land practices and see that that can actually work quite well! "pure nature untouched by humanity" is an ideal derived from white supremacy, as it turns out!

This isn't exactly true. Many indigenous cultures have lived in close proximity to nature for a very long time without causing the disruption and harm that western colonial capitalism has wrought. Western environmental orgs sure love to kick indigenous people out though.

I would say indigenous peoples across the world who have relationships with the land and have been stewards for millennia can do a lot of good. If however white settlers like me are confined to cities, that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.
