I do not believe it is responsible or feasible for someone living outside of a metro area to not wear an N-95 mask when they go out. Because no one else will and you WILL be infected

Which means you really can't separate personal risk from societal risk, if you do get infected it will probably be the indirect result of something you have no connection with, in a big Kevin Bacon chain

Getting infected because of Sturgis even though neither you nor anyone you know has any idea what that even is, etc And overflowing hospitals will absolutely throw gasoline on the fire in terms of overall background risk

Yeah, but again, this isn’t about “what if I see *a* person without a mask”, it’s about “what if I see one of the 70% of people who don’t wear masks, many of whom intentionally get close to you to show how much they don’t believe the Obamavirus is real”
