You know the first rule of gun safety, "The gun is always loaded"? It also applies retroactively, as in if someone points a gun at your head and pulls the trigger, and it turns out the gun *wasn't* loaded, you still have every right to freak the fuck out and kick their asshttps://twitter.com/JudyWoodruff/status/1331067628669038592 …

I dunno why I should feel good about the fact that Trump's lawyers are all grifting incompetents who can't be bothered to even try to sound convincing, and the judiciary isn't yet completely and utterly corrupt and shameless Those two things won't always be true

You know what the main thing the GOP learned from this? They didn't work hard enough to create doubt before the election, and they haven't packed the courts with enough shitty bought-and-paid-for judges They'll get to work on that really hard the next time they're in charge

Yeah - and I mean, it's pretty clear that Giuliani at least, thought the gun was loaded, and that a lot of the people egging him on didn't really know if it was loaded or not.

If nothing else, it's great that the lock on the bullets held. This time. But everyone still knows where to get the guns.
