Interesting that you're presuming "French = secular." Many/most of the Muslims whose rights are being restricted by Macron's order are also French by birth & citizenship, aren't they? Or do you think they're less French for being religious & expressing their religion in public?

If French-ness has a specific meaning to you that's tied to France's long storied history before "your people came here" then, at the very least, your ideology is conservative and xenophobic, which is on the way to fascist
