Which is why smoking is banned in most public spaces and workplaces, and if I see someone smoking near me I get up and leave As long as there's a pandemic, the same rules should apply to going around without a maskhttps://twitter.com/Hilding_EU/status/1329561217975906307 …

Mask do not stop this virus, people wish it would, but the scientific and empiric evidence is thin to say the least. Best defense to this virus (until vaccine is safe and available) will be every bodies immune system. Why do we not see a debate how to improve it?

Because "improving your immune system" is impossible without a vaccine and always has been

Yeah I know this is shit they say to make people feel better It's the same way healthier people are less likely to die of being shot, and therefore one way to slightly reduce your chances of dying from a gunshot wound is diet and exercise But by far not the most important way

Even the article you just linked says the concept of "boosting your immune system" is speculative and no specific lifestyle change has ever been scientifically proven to "boost your immune system" Followed by "But hey, getting healthy can't hurt"pic.twitter.com/VhIW7uE6QO

Covid related studies clearly show that obesity is a major factor in bad Covid outcome. Vitamin D deficiency also plays a role. There is not a singular answer. As a matter of fact healthy people also deal with vaccines better. Self evident looking at trials.

Nothing is as major a factor in COVID-19 outcomes as whether or not you get infected

The healthiest person in the world who's been shot by a bullet and the unhealthiest person in the world who's been shot by a bullet have much, much more similar prognoses of dying by bullet wound than anyone who simply never gets shot with a bullet
