I mean if you want an honest answer it's because "stepping over it" isn't even a conscious action anymore, that's just how walking over that region of floor goes, and changing that pattern would at this point be more effort

I hate the idea of "evolving beyond" those classic game archetypes, but there's absolutely room for both. Sometimes I just want to relax and decorate a house, sometimes I want to staple Grineer to the walls of their space-ships.
