Yeah I mean if you looked at my thread and especially if you looked at it in the context of what Darci said in hers I'm very specifically talking about the position of these people as a faction in discussions re: gaming and the New Ager ethos they ascribe to their pointless hobby

I do think I had a moment that struck me on a pretty deep level when I was playing an MMO and getting sick of it and being like "Why should I grind to earn furniture to decorate my imaginary virtual home when I didn't even bother buying any furniture for my real home"

Yeah I dunno It turns out that making interior design happen completely by magic, with the furniture teleporting into place at no cost, only served to raise my interest level from "active hostility" to "indifference"
