        Twitter thrives on the bad ideas of others. Pretty much every decision they make that we think is stupid and makes our experience worse is designed to stir the pot and force higher engagement numbers by starting fights.

        Investors are stupid and need all the businesses in a “sector” have to have the same business model. See utilities, cell phone companies, and cable companies. Now they are forcing Social Media to do the same. Which means forced Algorithmic timelines are next for Twitter.

        Yeah, I feel like "fleeting" it would just signal everyone to screenshot and then keep the screenshot handy.

        Exactly. By fleeting it, you've already done the work to determine that something is a bad idea; the screenshotters just have to work out why.
