Anyway, if y'all want an idea why form-fitting armor is a bad idea, here's what happens when armor is hit instead of looked at.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMT6hjwY8NQ …

Yeah, I'm not going to engage in reinforcing any of this. I'm out. Tag me out of any further Puritanism please

(i'm sure you'll just decide to misgender *me* because I'm not in camp "FF is genius" now)

Nah, it's the side claiming she's wrong that's misgendering folks and being sexist. That's why it's kind of rough seeing you take their side.

I’m not on their f*cking side. If you think you can’t disagree with FF without being a misogynist aligned with post-GG, I don’t think we should really… talk.

I spent the day getting misgendered by MRAs who think armor is supposed to be spandex.

And I’ve been attacked so, so many times by people on “our” side. I’m sorry people misgendered her, but if you think her point of view on feminism is ultimately good for trans people, you’re probably going to be very let down

I overall like FF, but this was a bad take from her. Mandalorian armor is ceremonial and cultural as well as functional. I didn't find the woman's armor to be overly sexualized in any way that was off-putting. Also, Sarkesian was wrong about a lack of female representation (1/2)

On the Mandalorian. Some of his staunchest allies were women, as was the armorer who was definitely above Din hierarchically. You should be able to disagree with Sarkesian when she's wrong without being accused of bigotry. (2/2)

I actually don’t agree that The Mandalorian isn’t sexist. It definitely started out that way, and it doesn’t help that two of three major recurring female characters (and I’m being generous in counting the other, the armorer) are played by T*RFs

And the Armorer's actor played a transphobe in TLoU 2

That she played a transphobe doesn't mean that she is one, does it?
