A quote I did not understand when I first watched, still don't really understand, and yet love and find it to be absolutely perfect for the characters and the moment. Runner-up, movie 3's "Ohayo wasabi." "Hello mustard?" "So my Japanese is a little rusty." "How about sayonara?"

The hilarious subtext of this joke is that Raphael is more of a New Yorker than Casey Canseco was a big star in 1990, having just won the World Series with the Oakland A's in 1989, but diehard Yankees fans saw the A's as a rival and refused to jump on the bandwagon

Honestly Raphs arc is a pretty solid look at adolescence all around. I love that movie.

And, you know, Ralph's open disgust at Mikey's equally arbitrary decision to be a surfer dude from LA

The audacity of being a born and bred (well, hatched and mutated) New Yorker and choosing to consciously learn to talk like you're from Orange County

And huffs glade. But has the best taste in music. They should have put him in a stoner poncho.

He became insufferable though when he decided to follow Phish around that one year selling bean shoot sandwiches and hemp necklaces.
