Studies that show that having a single person as CEO is on average much worse for a company than having a committee that votes Individual leaders letting their personal issues fuck up their work or even just making a dumb mistake no one else catches

But the idea of not having one charismatic leader who runs everything is anathema, especially in America Imagine trying to set up a business of any size and saying that you don't want it to have a president or CEO, but a panel of people who work cooperatively

Hell we use the term "designed by committee" or "decisions made by committee" as an inherently negative thing We have this kneejerk prejudice that if there isn't one person ultimately in charge of doing or making something then it'll suck

Also, theoretically, that ISN'T the case here. We HAVE so-called checks and balances that are suppose to prevent that from happening. Despite what the narrative says the Trump Administration was NOT just one man run amuck. All three branches conspired together to make this era.

So much of the way his supporters treat Trump reminds me of the way people used to treat kings. I wouldn’t be surprised if they started believing his touch could heal at this point.
