Eddie Izzard was everyone's favorite example of a "totally regular cishet man who just likes wearing dresses" until the day -- surprise! -- he wasn't, and he gave an interview talking about how being "just a transvestite" was an identity chosen out of fear

She really shits the bed at the moment she establishes some weird rule that men should want to get pegged to put on dresses
-
She thinks she's applying a disclaimer to exclude "real" queer or trans people from her analysis but she is, in fact, advocating corrective rape of trans women "If you don't like the idea of having sex this way, you're not a woman, you're a predatory man"

As a femme trans dude who also knows a lot of nonbinary AMAB people, I just want to reassure this girl that straight women by and large do not find men in dresses attractive and getting a bunch of sex were the goal here, we'd be failing spectacularly.
-
Also it's likely some of these people are queer or trans and not out yet, but even if they're not.... Straight cis men are allowed to play around with gender expression too. The world would be better if fewer guys were worried about being "manly" all the time.

As a gay guy, I find it really strange when straight people are police one another for perceived appropriation. Like, sis, the whole point has been for people to finally be free to do what they want... straight guys being fem literally takes nothing away from my life.

her reasoning is that traditional displays of masculinity have been cancelled— which, on top of being untrue, is exactly the kind of shit right wingers say

First time I wore a dress I did it so that my drama teacher could hem it. a bunch of cis girls laughed and took pictures. If a bunch of cis boys were dressing up as maids that might not have happened and I might have gotten smart and transitioned sooner.
