Who said any of this? No one is immune save those already infected. But not everyone is at grave risk. This is a fact. We *know* who the vulnerable population is. Focus.

Oh fuck you man You know who's vulnerable? Me I'm not in the "most vulnerable" group, but I'm vulnerable, largely because, to be blunt, I'm fat I do not expect the government to give me money anytime soon to enable me to "fully lock down" while everyone else parties

I get it. You're scared. Trying to be delicate here because I don't aim to insult but you realize your ask, right? That healthy people quarantine to protect you from your previous choices (obesity being mostly non-genetic)? This is the definition of moral hazard.

I don't give a shit how heritable you think obesity is and how I deserve to be punished for my "bad choices" (that most of the US population has mysteriously been making for generations, obviously correlated with poverty and stress) I'm not gonna die for the fucking NASDAQ

I'm not gonna kill someone else for it either, who may be significantly poorer and fatter than me and therefore have made "worse choices"

My sister has lupus, I also don't want her to die That's not known to be genetic either, so I guess you can't immediately blame it on "bad choices" and it's up in the air whether she deserves "healthy people" making an effort to save her life

My kids have autoimmune diseases. I dont expect the healthy to isolate indefinitely for them.

We wouldn’t have to isolate indefinitely if you people weren’t so selfish. Coronavirus dies out in individuals in ~14 days. If everyone stayed indoors for a month, it would have had nowhere to spread. My mother and my fiancé could die because of you! I haven’t been out in months!

You show me we can do a "strict lockdown" and end this in 3 weeks and I'll hunker down in the basement right now. It's a fools errand. We tried. Has not worked *anywhere*. Sure, we could try *harder*. Ya ok. How? Fuller lockdown? No essential businesses? No food supply etc?

Is Victoria not "anywhere"

Victoria didnt just "survive," but stage government grants to cover the income of people needing to self isolate or wfo had tested positive saved us. It saved our lives. I'm extremely grateful we did lockdown. It worked.

My government saved our lives in the end. Thats the clear cut end of it. I am now in an extremely small and very blessed minority in the world who havent lost anyone because of COVID. Lockdown is to thank and I'd do it all over again a million times if I had to.
