EVERYONE ELSE'S ECONOMY IS GOING TO FLOURISH IN THE VOID WHERE ONLY OUR CORPSES REMAIN. Seriously though our economy being in the shitter has everything to do with DOING WHAT THE ECONOMISTS SAID WAS BAD (i.e. bouncing around between opened and closed).
