Maybe you could look at, you know, all of history and see that the White House flipping to the other party every eight years is how it normally works and the times it didn't do that are big notable exceptions

I was a big fan of Obama too but the idea that he was just so successful and popular that *his successor* couldn't possibly lose the election was delusional Where do they think the Republicans all went, did they evaporate
