People like to speculate on unlikely scenarios if everything had gone perfectly for the Nazis and their experiments had paid off - "What if they'd made the first guided missile submarine? What if they'd fielded the first jet fighter air force?"

Or by and large fascists obsession with nukes. We see them as massively destructive weapons whose only use is to maintain an equilibrium with despots armed with nukes of their own throught Mutually Assured Destruction… They see these as the ultimate "I win" button.

I remember an old Soviet addage: Soviet tanks beat a Panzer, Hitler demands a better tank. German tanks beat a T-34, Stalin orders more T-34's. By the time Hitler has his new supertank, T-34's are rolling into Berlin.
